"The new Argentine left (1955-1976): socialism, Peronism and revolution" is a book, directed by María Cristina Tortti and co-directed by Mauricio Chama and Adrián Celentano, which compiles a series of articles by various authors referring to the problem the heterogeneous conglomerate of social and political forces that, over almost two decades, developed a process of radical mobilization in our country and that has been called New Left. In addition to these works, the book ends with a text by Juan Carlos Portantiero, entitled "Students and Populism", written in late 1969 in the framework of the worldwide generalization of the student protests of the 1960s.
